“Rain song” was written for the beginning of the rainy season. By the end of the summer, in the midst of forest fire season, Oregon is pleading for rain. However, when the rains come, they don't stop until spring.
“The Ash & the Lyre” was written around a campfire. It is about the struggle between knowing when to slow down and when to move on. Featuring Luke Lillard on guitar and vocals and Kristin Bond on piano, recorder, and vocals.
